The Junior School students after their instructional activities will be registered for the Rivers State Basic Education Certificate Examination. This is a River State’s organised examination.

The third examination is an international examination. It is the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint.
The Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint is an international examination for Cambridge Associate Schools and is organised by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).
These three (state, national and international) examinations are for students in JSS3 – the final class in the Junior Secondary.

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is a regional examination for the students in the final class (SS3). The WASSCE is organised by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an international examination for candidates within the age range of students in SS3. The results/certificates of this examination are credible and globally accepted for admission into universities around the world. The examination is conducted by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).
